Why did you not repair the inlet filter (3rd missing metal) while having the thing upside down ?? That half work and (by the way) an important security element !

You're one of the luckiest people in the world. You get everything almost for free, everything so cheap. After watching your videos, I looked up the internet to see if I can get any cheap waverunners like you did but hell no, even a used one cost ₹5-8lakhs (about US $7k-9k) in india

Once they are old they are not worth much. I would sell this machine for $400, its running.

After all that work, it still won't pull a greasy string out of a cats ass. Weak machines. I had one just like it back in '93.

Why in the hell would you use a shop-vac to suck out a fuel tank? Am I the only one who sees the extreme danger in doing this? Yea there was water mixed in nonetheless some poor dude is gonna see this and do it on a gas tank and boom, the party's over.

They tested it on mythbusters (vacuuming gas) and could not get an explosion. Plus there was no gas in this tank.

I was cringing when I watched the bearings being hammered in. Don’t get me wrong hammering in bearings is acceptable as we don’t all have access to a press, but always hammer against the edge of the bearing facing the resistance. Don’t hammer on the inner when the outer is going into the housing. On saying that it worked?

Only a suggestion to another great " brought back from the dead" I have pulled a couple wave runners out of the deep six here on the Delta, only thing I have done different is I purchased a soda cleaner to clean the crust of external parts and spent a little more time with the impeller and housing. The difference between 2 tigersharks 1 just cleaned out and thrown back together and the 2nd one I spent about 4 extra hours on Impeller and corrosion on external parts with the soda blaster was about 12 mph speed on the water. Not critiquing your work just inputting another idea that might help in your restorations. I totally enjoy watching ever video you make. I'm 69 and have slowed down , but still love fixing things others throw away.... My newest project is an old JD 310 backhoe loader, caught fire and all the pins on the backhoe and front bucket are shot over 1/2 in of slop in bushings... TG for my mini excavator as a crane to lift and hold those heavy control arms . Anyway Andrew keep on just as you are, hope you have a family in future to keep your great legacy multiplying

Great video ! I just aquired an old kawasaki ss /x1 750 ,'94 , my first jet ski ever ,only attempted to ride once before ,years ago ,i had the old owner start it up for me ,it runs ,and sounds good ,my question is this ,he hook a garden hose up to a fitting on the engine ,and it was leaking water into the hull ,not bad ,but i noticed you didn't hook any water up to the Yamaha ,because you only started it for a few seconds , so i don't hook up a garden hose that leaks just to start it for few seconds ,correct? And basically that water fitting is a flush valve to flush out old water ,and keep it cool if running for more than a few seconds ? Like i said ,I'm very new to this ,that is awesome video though ! Thank you so much!

Using zip ties to secure fuel filters is an accident waiting to happen. Since a great number of plastic slowly desolves in gasoline.
