At least you can still go and visit. Here in Idaho we have a couple Texas billionaires who have bought up huge tracts of the state and are blocking off a bunch of the hunting and camping access roads. They've also had security guards harrassing fisherman who have a right to fish as long as they stay in the water. So you know, everyone complaining about how crap the government takes care of things know there is a flip side where your state sells things off to people who block use to them.

I'm always amazed at how unsafe and reckless some drivers can be. I just got back from a 2 week camping adventure, and while driving on I-75 through a construction zone, I had a guy in a pick up truck who was 5th in a line of cars waiting to enter from a standstill from an on ramp with a yield sign pull out right in front of me. I was going 60 with my Ram 1500 and a 26 foot travel trailer. The guy did not accelerate, just pulled out and basically stopped. All I had a was narrow shoulder to my left and a concrete wall to try and avoid a bad rear ending of this guy. I slammed on the brakes and somehow, someway, avoided hitting him. Must've been by an inch. Maybe. I have no idea what that guy was thinking as no one was behind me, and he was behind several other cars in line waiting to enter the interstate like they should've been. This was not a merging situation due to the construction. I think they need to make the test for getting a license much harder. People are dying on the roads because of people like that. I feel bad for truck drivers. Yes, I've come across some really dangerous truck drivers, but I've seen far more idiots in passenger cars pull some very dangerous stunts. They don't think about how long it takes a truck to stop. Or an rv. Anyway, yeah...very scary when things like that happen. Glad you stayed safe!

Eric, Jax is a great cat who needs an easy to do weight lose program...started now...( or this little friend of so many of us follower's, is going to start having serious medical problems.) 1. set and keep to a regular feeding time schedule, ( i.e. 6a.m., 11a.m., 4a.m., and 9p.m. 2. buy a digital kitchen scale and weigh out each of his meal portions ( start with 40 grams of wet food for each of the 4 meals) (( stop feeding any and all dry kibble)) 3. weigh Jax once a week (saturdays are easy to remember) in the A.M. prior to feeding him. Make a simple chart and notate the weight. 5. Adjust his gram/food portion up or down, in very small steps (of 2 or 3 gram changes) in response to his weight target 6. Jax is a big cat and looks like his ideal and healthy weight may be 12 or 13 pounds... Ron

Already the third largest homeless population in the country with a 28% increase from 2017 to 2018. The estimates for 2019... another 30% increase. The tent cities are being raided and the camping areas are being shutdown or patrolled like crazy.... That's the scoop.

That guy in the 5th wheel is what is known as a week end warrior. He does it all the time? He did nothing wrong? Rarely does a full timer do something so asinine. That could have been a serious accident. A suggestion if i may. When i am being overtaken by another vehicle i let off ever so slightly on the accelerator and this speeds up their "pass" and increases the distance between us as they pass. i watch for these foolish lane changes by having my foot ready to tap the brakes if need be. Glad ur safe.

I have done this on my travel trailer and it is like I am sitting on the back bumper......practice backing up with it and you are laughing
