I would like to know if any of these "geniuses" in the R&D departments at these manufacturers of LOUD vacuum cleaners, EVER asked a house cat THEIR opinion on all the noise. PeTA should SUE!

Let me explain something to you. I don't care what example you're trying to use, I don't care if it has a point or not. Do not, EVER, include eating sounds in videos. Especially chips. Here's why: it is a god awful sound that, in people like me, elicits a reaction of extreme irritation, anxiety, and, in some cases like me, pure rage. The second I heard that god awful Crunch, I instinctively, though irrationally, had the urge to hunt down the source, pin them down, and slam their head in a car door until nothing is left. Misophonia is a powerful thing, and is annoying for literally everybody involved, especially the ones afflicted. While it can't be avoided in real life scenarios, I would hope that a major YouTube channel with high production quality focused on educating, not necessarily on entertaining, would be conscious enough to do just that one thing. [For the record, the suffix 'phonia' is not the same as'phobia'. It is similar, but 'phobia' is expressly irrational fears, while 'phonia' is a general irrational response, not necessarily fear.]

As someone who hates loud noises... (part of my autism apparently) I resent any purposely amplified sound that is neither music nor entertainment.

Vaccum cleaners literally cause my ears to bleed, and loud cars/bikes, instantly make me dislike the driver.

              This is obnoxious.

Having worked in var fields, I have found the ppl who prefer noise are usually the less intelligent ppl, they're also the ones to just talk to hear their own voice and the ones that fail at anything that requires one to be quiet, zen classes, executive security or any security, martial arts, actual cleaning of stuff, women singing and dancing while dusting in teddys are of course exempt. In construction quiet is enjoyed since it's too often not quiet and you lose some of your hearing from power equipment drilling or cutting thru stuff. The earliest quiet vacuums came out in the late 60s, noone wanted em, loud was seen as powerful, the facts were the opposite but ppl largely didn't know the advances in machine silencing, they tried it in the 70s, again same thing, ppl too dumb to know quiet actually meant more powerful. Vibration isolators are a huge industry but most ppl don';t know this but if something is making noise and the customer wants it quiet someone will make it such for $. Air ducts are expected to be quiet so blowers have better bearings and are quieter than they used to be. The military spends $$$$$$ on quiet tech, especially the Navy, subs now are much quieter than they were in WW2, now if an area of ocean is too quiet than there might be a sub there. The fuel cell subs Germany makes are so quiet they've killed US subs in war games, took out a US carrier in the same war games, oops ! That tech will be part of the next gen of US subs. A lot is what ppl don't know and the rest what we've been told to believe, often total shit.
