A lincon AC225 is a common cheap one. One that is DC/AC is better.

I'm sick and tired of you coming up with better solutions than I did. Apprenticing for you would have been worth a lot more than my degree.

Another great video Andrew! Thank you so much. Just a small mention regarding the greasing. We are required to wipe every zerk before and after greasing to prevent any grit or dust from being pumped into the bearing that can destroy the bearing. Keep the videos coming.

Andrew, since you are welding a lot perhaps you should use a welder apron to protect yourself from the xray's emitted during welding. this would protect the content of your balls.

Tip on welding . When chipping straight after welding . Keep the hat down protecting your face and eyes . Low hydrogen stick welding the flux is glass . When it cools it explodes away from the weld . Usually straight into your eyes !! Always always chip the flux with eye protection . Super heated glass will stick instantly to your eye ball . Much much pain .

Either you drilled through it, and then moved it out of alignment (it wouldn't have stayed lined up with the body hole anyway) or you didn't drill through it and you are just greasing the outside of the bushing, which means your pin doesn't have grease against the bushing and it's metal on metal.

So, don't take this the wrong way, please.... At times, you really do crack me up.... You are very very funny, without even trying....

The Irwin Qwik Grip clamp, and the drill, to finish driving the hole for the grease fitting.... Hahahaha! I had to stop the video, and laugh that one off.... Never thought of that! You're a bad influence, you're giving me ideas....

The other one that really killed me was in an older video, where you were fixing a jet ski... You were putting the head back on the motor, and you go "Oh look, see, on this cover, they have the tightening order, and the torque spec.... (pauses)....Ehhh, I dunno... I'm just gonna do this...." (hammers the bolts down with an impact...) Hahahahaha!

That cracked me up so bad... You're very funny....

No, but that crap aside, the stuff you are able to do, at such a young age... Basically self taught... It's very impressive. You have a lot of ambition, obviously, and there's also a lot of thinking outside the box to keep stuff running. Very impressive.

                                                                                    • Troy Crowder

Used your idea of putting a grease nipple on the bottom bore of the arm on our 323 Bobcat. Built a hydraulic thumb and used this pin pivot location to put the thumb. This required a longer pin to connect the bucket AND the thumb. Bored out the the new thumb pin and guessed just where the centre was to come out of the pin between the bushings. Hard to get it exactly between the bushings. The better idea was yours, to drill right into the center of the bottom arm and thread in a grease zerk. Works great! Thanks!
