                                Canning can actually be pretty simple. As long as your jars have been sterilized, you can easily just put your contents in while they’re still hot, screw on the lid, and let it cool at room temperature. The cooling process with suck the closed lid into a vacuum seal. Don’t know the science behind it, but it works.

                                                            Given the film is set in England, the bacon would be back bacon and not so well done, the sausages would be thicker, the scones would have risen more and the rarebit would frankly look nothing like that.

                                                              i made my first pancakes from a box mix. my mom bought it because it was high protein type stuff. sure they weren't perfect pancakes, one was burned a bit, one was wonky and small, and one was....the first pancake.... but they tasted delicious and using salted sweet cream butter as lube or between pancakes boosts the flavor of these doughey little munchkins. yes i like my pancakes a little doughey.
